Getting to Saltaire
By Train: Saltaire has its own station, situated in the heart of the village, with frequent trains from Leeds, Bradford, Keighley and Skipton. There are also links to Haworth and the heart of Bronte Country via the Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway. The Leeds Settle & Carlisle Railway links us to the Dales and beyond.
By Bus: A mini bus links the village with Shipley and there are regular services from Bradford, Leeds, Keighley and Skipton.
By Road: From the south, take the M1, M62, M606 to Bradford then follow the A650.
From Leeds A65 to Kirkstall then follow A657 to Shipley
Walk/Cycle: Take the train to Leeds, then get on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal towpath, walk along the towpath and enjoy the myriad of sites; only 10 miles or so to Saltaire.
Fancy a walk from Liverpool? It’s only 117 miles along the towpath! There are many exciting places to visit, stop and eat along the towpath.
By Barge: Hire a barge for a week and make sure you stop over in Saltaire; you will need a full day to enjoy all its attractions.

Car Parking in Saltaire Village
Saltaire United Reformed Church BD18 3LF Car park for church visitors only.
Caroline Street Car Park charges apply
Exhibition Road/Saltaire Road Car charges apply
Salts Mill Car Park BD98 8AA at the rear of the mill about 10 minute walk into the village. Follow the brown signs for Salts Mill. This car park is free. There is also parking for coaches.
Coach Drop off and Pick up Point is on Exhibition Road. Coaches booked with Salts Walks can drop off and pick up at the Saltaire United Reformed Church,’but must not enter the drive’, Shipley college drainage runs under the drive and is vulnerable to heavy vehicles. Thank you for your understanding
